**GPBCH Fifth Year Anniversary Celebration** - April 6th. Please join us to commemorate our first five years of working with employers and other healthcare system stakeholders to improve population health and healthcare quality, safety, and value. We will recognize our founding employer members -- AstraZeneca, Comcast Corporation, Day & Zimmermann, Merck, Public Health Management Corporation, Stradley Ronon, Vanguard, and Wawa -- as well as our founding affiliate members -- Boehringer-Ingelheim, Johnson & Johnson, the Healthcare Improvement Foundation, Mercer, Pfizer, the Trion Group, and United Healthcare. Welcome remarks will be offered by David L. Cohen, Senior Executive Vice President of Comcast Corporation, and The Honorable James Francis Kenney, Mayor of Philadelphia. Our guest of honor is Leah Binder, President and CEO of the Leapfrog Group, a national organization promoting safer healthcare. Ms. Binder has been repeatedly recognized in Modern Healthcare's listings of the 100 most influential people in health care, 25 top women in healthcare. GPBCH serves as the Leapfrog Regional Leader for Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware, and through our efforts, nearly two-thirds of the region's hospitals are now publicly disclosing important information on patient safety, and demonstrating continued improvement.
