Maureen Clancy serves as the Executive Director, Operations for the Global Medical and Strategic Initiatives team for Comcast NBCUniversal. In this role she is focused on operational excellence and execution of strategic initiatives focused on health, education, diversity and policy for employees and consumers at large. Maureen is responsible for translating Comcast NBCU’s enterprise-wide strategic health & wellbeing vision, while collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive successful, value-generating, and synergistic programs in areas such as Connected Health, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, corporate communications, esports, employee engagement, post-merger integrations, process standardization, and Military and Veterans Affairs. Maureen served as a key member of the core team that planned Comcast’s COVID-19 response and Return to Office strategy. During her more than 20-year tenure with Comcast, Maureen has held leadership positions in various parts of the company, including serving as the HR Vice President responsible for the creation and execution of the people strategies and practices for the company’s engineering and product development organization, TPX, and as the founding Human Resources leader of the internal start-up, Comcast Interactive Media, who worked with the other members of the executive leadership team to establish the vision and culture for the organization while growing the highly skilled, cross-functional team from twenty to four hundred employees over the course of three years. Maureen also led operations for Know Your Value, a professional platform established by MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski in partnership with Comcast NBCUniversal that helps women recognize and be recognized for their personal and professional value.
Maureen holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Delaware with a minor in English and earned her PHR certification through Villanova University’s College of Professional Studies. She is an alumna of the Comcast Executive Women’s Leadership Forum at Wharton. Maureen serves on the board of the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health (GPBCH). She is also an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). In addition, she participates in numerous Comcast Employee Resource Groups including the Women’s Network, MyAbilities Network, VetNet and Out@Comcast. Maureen also previously served as a member board member for the Center for Literacy. Maureen and her family reside in suburban Philadelphia where she engages in a variety of community and charitable initiatives.
