Joe Abbondandolo is the Vice President, Benefits for Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. He has worked in Human Resources for over 30 years in not-for-profit organizations such as Kennedy Health and the Internationals AIDS Vaccine Initiative and in for- profit companies including Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Allergan and Ciba Specialty Chemicals. Mr. Abbondandolo is also an Adjunct Lecturer at City College of New York. He has taught at City College since 2011 and teaches Human Resources Management, Principles of Management and Strategic Management. Mr. Abbondandolo received his BA in Psychology and BS in Economics/Management from the University of Pennsylvania. He has a MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University. He has earned his SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the following certifications from WorldatWork: Certified Compensation Professional® (CCP®), Certified Benefits Professional® (CBP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®), Work-Life Certified Professional® (WLCP®). Mr. Abbondandolo coaches basketball for Saint Paul CYO High School and Hopewell Spring Hoops League.
