If you attended the GPBCH Annual Conference in June, you may recall Chris Whipple, Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Business Group on Health (PBGH), discussing her coalition's annual Corporate Challenge, which assists employers in motivating employees to be active and take positive steps toward better health. We are pleased to announce that GPBCH will be bringing the Corporate Wellness Challenge to Greater Philadelphia in the Spring of 2014, providing healthy competition within and across participating companies. The program will provide:
-Step-by-step implementation guides
-On-line and paper tracking tools
-Educational resources
-Metrics for measuring success and rewarding participation
-Weekly company-specific reports and health tips
Supported by the American Heart Association's "My Heart, My Life," participation in this challenge will be available to Coalition members free of charge. Program details will be made available in the New Year, with an official launch of the Challenge coinciding with the 2nd Annual Conference (May 21st, 2014) and concluding in July with the Coalition's Annual Wellness Summit.
